He succeeds Paul Hamelin, one of GIRO's pioneers, who has been at the helm of the company for more than 10 years. Mr. Hamelin will now serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Jean Aubin began his career with GIRO in 2002, and until now held the role of Executive Vice-President. He holds a master's degree in operations research from Université de Montréal and worked for over 15 years in software development, including a decade in the telecommunications sector. He will assume his new duties in July 2017.
As Chairman of the Board, Paul Hamelin will continue to have a hand in GIRO's strategic planning and in relations with clients and the business community.
