Family-Friendly, Immersive and Festive Programming with a New Quests to Go, the Fall Fair, and Much More!
MONTRÉAL, Oct. 2, 2026 /CNW/ -- This fall, the Old Port of Montréal is offering a family-friendly and festive lineup featuring immersive experiences, seasonal activities and exciting new attractions for all ages.
Among the season's new attractions, the free Ma belle-mère est une sorcière – Quests to Go interactive adventure runs from October 1 to November 1. Designed for families with children aged 7 and up, this outdoor mobile app experience lasts approximately one hour and combines puzzles, challenges and themed stations inspired by the film.
Running from September 24 to October 18, Wednesday through Sunday, the Fall Fair returns with rides, games and midway booths. Admission to the site is free, and visitors may choose between purchasing ride tickets or an unlimited-access wristband.
Starting October 3, SOS Halloween returns to SOS Labyrinthe with an indoor adventure specially designed for families and groups of friends. Visitors in costume will receive a 15% discount from October 10 to November 1.
On October 31, visitors to the Grande Roue de Montréal can enjoy autumn and Halloween decorations, meet a mascot and receive treats between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., participate in a children's costume contest at 5 p.m., and attend the Grande Roue 's light show beginning at 7 p.m.
From October 8, 2026, to January 17, 2027, Infinity Experiences presents Smithsonian: Mysteries of the Universe and Napoleon, The Immersive Saga, two virtual reality experiences inviting visitors to explore the depths of the universe and relive Napoleon's epic journey in spectacular immersive environments.
The Bota Bota spa-sur-l'eau is also introducing several new offerings this fall, including the new Canopée facial treatment, the Badstu sauna ritual, the restaurant La Traversée's autumn menu, as well as sound bath meditation workshops offered every third Wednesday of the month.
Thrill-seekers can admire the season's colours from above with MTL Zipline, which offers a 15% student discount with valid student card until October 31.
At Montréal Bungee, visitors can take advantage of a special rate of $149 plus taxes every Monday. Creative participants are also invited to enter the Halloween Contest for a chance to win a free jump by sharing a photo of their costume on Instagram.
The fall season will continue with a special event awaiting visitors on November 7 at the Montréal Science Centre. More details will be revealed soon. Another new feature this year is the Old Port of Montreal Artisan Market, presented by Signé Local at the Jacques-Cartier Pavilion, showcasing local artisans and creators in a warm and inspiring atmosphere during the weekends of November 27-29 and December 4-6.
