Essex Charity Golf Classic Surpasses $1 Million Raised for Kids Cancer Care as Essex Celebrates 40 Years in Business

CALGARY, AB, Sept. 25, 2026 /CNW/ -- Essex Lease Financial Corporation ("Essex") is proud to announce that the 2026 Essex Charity Golf Classic raised $315,987 in support of Kids Cancer Care, bringing the tournament's cumulative fundraising total to $1,067,763 since its inception in 2021.

Surpassing the $1 million mark represents a significant milestone for Essex and its community of sponsors, golfers, donors, volunteers, and supporters. The achievement comes during Essex's 40th year in business, making it a meaningful reflection of the company's long-standing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.

Since its launch in 2021, the Essex Charity Golf Classic has grown into Essex's most meaningful annual community initiative. Funds raised through the tournament help Kids Cancer Care provide vital programs, resources, and support for children diagnosed with cancer and the families navigating their cancer journey. Through this partnership, Essex has also contributed to exciting features at Camp Kindle, including the Essex Excavator Treehouse and the Aerial Quad. These spaces give children the opportunity to explore, be adventurous, spark their imagination, and simply enjoy being kids, creating lasting memories while away from the challenges of treatment and recovery.
