East Coast Investment Grade Fund, advised by East Coast Fund Management targets investors seeking wealth preservation with consistent absolute returns and low risk

TORONTO, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - East Coast Fund Management Inc. today announces the launch of East Coast Investment Grade Fund with Arrow Hedge Partners Inc.  Similar to The East Coast Performance Fund, this fund will invest primarily in investment grade credit instruments of Canadian companies.  The Fund's investment objectives are to provide consistent absolute target returns between 8 - 12% while using hedging strategies to minimize systemic risk to capital at all times.  This Fund enables investors to extract returns from credit exposure through fixed income assets; while avoiding the volatility of equity markets and thereby delivering consistent results in all, even uncertain markets. 

The East Coast Investment Grade Fund is available on FundSERV.  The Fund invests in investment grade credit securities, and uses a combination of relative value, active trading and in-depth research to achieve the return targets while minimizing key risks in the portfolio, such as interest rate and systemic risk.  The Fund will also, from time to time, execute macro type trades as an overlay to the main fund strategy.  These trades are designed to take advantage of opportunities in other risk categories including equities, commodities and foreign exchange.
