Starbucks commemorates Chinese New Year with Canada-wide availability of Blossoming Peach Tea Latte made with Teavana® Fine Tea

TORONTO, Feb. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Following an overwhelmingly successful debut in Toronto and Vancouver last year, Starbucks Canada is bringing back the popular Starbucks® Blossoming Peach Tea Latte for a limited time and expanding its availability to cities across Canada in celebration of Chinese New Year.

"We were blown away by the love customers showed for the Starbucks® Blossoming Peach Tea Latte last year.  This year, we are so pleased not only to bring it back, but to share it with even more Canadians and perhaps inspire new delicious traditions."      

Peach Blossom is a traditional flower in China and a symbol of beauty, love and longevity.  Starbucks® Blossoming Peach Tea Latte, which was inspired by a popular handcrafted beverage made in Starbucks® cafes in China, begins with bright and aromatic Teavana® Earl Grey tea and the delicate aroma of peach, combined with freshly steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and peach blossom sugar crystals.

Exclusively created for the Canadian market, Starbucks first introduced the Starbucks® Blossoming Peach Tea Latte as a limited time offering in 2014 in participating stores in the Greater Vancouver and Greater Toronto areas.  This year, Starbucks will offer the handcrafted beverage across Canada at all participating Starbucks® locations beginning today until March 2nd while supplies last, in celebration of Chinese New Year, which takes place February 19, 2015.  

The Starbucks® Blossoming Peach Tea Latte joins the vibrant flavours of Teavana® brewed-to-order hot teas, which launched in Canadian Starbucks® stores at the beginning of 2015.  Customers can find the blend that suits their unique taste preferences from the selection of our ten classic and best-selling teas:
