TORONTO, June 18, 2016 /CNW/ - If you bought a LOTTO MAX ticket, you're going to want to check your numbers! The $55 million LOTTO MAX jackpot winning ticket from the Friday, June 17, 2016 draw was sold in Toronto. There were two additional big prize winning tickets from the same draw sold in Ontario.
One MAXMILLIONS prize was split between two winning tickets, each worth $500,000. The tickets were sold in Burlington and Western Canada. Another MAXMILLIONS ticket worth $1 million was sold in Quebec.
The winning doesn't end there, Ontario! One ticket for a secondary prize worth $337,266.90 was sold in Markham.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.7 billion in prizes, including 46 jackpot wins and 313 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.
