MONCTON, NB, Oct. 30, 2026 /CNW/ -- Urban Barn, a proudly 100% Canadian-owned and operated furniture and décor retailer, is thrilled to announce the opening of its first New Brunswick store.
Located at Moncton's Mapleton Centre (62 Wyse Street, Moncton, NB E1G 0Z5), the new store opens its doors today, bringing Urban Barn's timeless and on-trend curated furniture collections for the home and stylish décor inspiration to local shoppers for the first time.
Urban Barn's highly anticipated arrival in Moncton marks the latest milestone for the Burnaby, BC-based brand, bringing its retail footprint to 55 stores across Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and now New Brunswick since its founding in 1990.

Spanning more than 6,200 square feet of retail space, the wheelchair-accessible store highlights Urban Barn's living room, dining room, bedroom and home office collections as well as lighting, rugs, pillows & textiles, wall décor & mirrors, kitchen & tabletop décor and seasonal home accents. Resources and services include complimentary one-on-one design consultations for customers and membership in its national trade program for design professionals. Ample free parking is available within Mapleton Centre.
The store opens with a team of 11 employees all from the Moncton area, including one Store Manager, one Assistant Manager and two Store Supervisors.
While the store is open to customers as of today, official grand opening celebrations will take place on Saturday, November 21. Festivities will include special giveaways, exclusive promotions, unique in-store experiences and the opportunity to join Urban Barn in supporting Crossroads for Women, the store's local charity of choice, which provides shelter to women and children fleeing domestic violence in the Moncton area.
