Toronto Hydro reports update to power outage in City of Toronto
TORONTO, July 5 /CNW/ - As of approximately 8 p.m., Toronto Hydro is reporting that most areas affected by a large-scale power outage have been restored.
Boundaries remaining without power are as follows:
NORTH YORK
West - Leslie
East - Victoria Park
North - McNicoll
South - Van Horne
ETOBICOKE
Area 1
North - Burnhamthorpe
South - Bloor Street West
Along East Mall
Area 2
North - Finch Avenue
South - Rexdale Blvd
Along Highway 27
At this time, approximately 1,300 customers remain without power, down from 48,000.
Toronto Hydro will provide more updates as restoration information becomes available.
