ASHCROFT, BC, July 13 /CNW Telbec/ - The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, Federal Interlocutor for Métis and Non-Status Indians, on behalf of the Honourable Stockwell Day, President of the Treasury Board of Canada and Minister responsible for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, will make an announcement regarding Ashcroft Terminal.

    Time:        11:30 a.m. Pacific

    Location:    Ashcroft Terminal site (near the Village of Ashcroft, B.C.)

    Directions:  From Vancouver (Heading North East along TransCanada No.1):
                 -----------------------------------------------------------
                    -  Turn right off of TransCanada No.1 onto (HWY 97c /
                       Highland Valley Road) to head into the Village of
                       Ashcroft
                    -  Continue over the bridge and make a left turn onto
                       Evans Road (before the CP Rail tracks)
                    -  Continue 3 km along Evans Road to Ashcroft Terminal

                 From Kamloops (Heading South West along TransCanada No.1):
                 -----------------------------------------------------------
                    -  Turn left off of TransCanada No.1 onto (HWY 97c /
                       Highland Valley Road) to head into the Village of
                       Ashcroft
                    -  Continue over the bridge and make a left turn onto
                       Evans Road (before the CP Rail tracks)
                    -  Continue 3 km along Evans Road to Ashcroft Terminal
