Toronto Raptors and Foot Locker Canada Step Up Fan Experience With Inaugural Shoe+TopiaTO Event

Raptors to host Toronto's premier sneaker event at Air Canada Centre

TORONTO, Oct. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - Toronto Raptors and Foot Locker Canada invite fans to Air Canada Centre on November 9 to support and celebrate the fast-growing sneaker collector community in Toronto.  Shoe+TopiaTO is an event that will provide a unique marketplace for shoe collectors to showcase, buy, sell and trade their rare and highly sought-after pieces.

Fans who purchase tickets and vendors of this event also gain access to the Toronto Raptors game versus the Utah Jazz later that evening.

Other features of Shoe+TopiaTO include:

• Apparel and artist vendor tables
• Toronto Raptors signed and game worn merchandise available for purchase with proceeds going to MLSE Foundation

Shoe+TopiaTO will also serve as a competition between Toronto's elite sneaker collectors as each vendor will be entered into the Best Collection competition.  The winning vendor table will be awarded a Foot Locker prize pack including a $1000 Foot Locker gift card, pair of shoes, signed Toronto Raptors jersey and four Baseline Prime tickets to a Raptors game.
