Toronto Hydro: Strong Winds Cause Localized Power Outages Across Toronto
TORONTO, April 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited ("Toronto Hydro") is reporting a number of localized power outages across the city. There are approximately 300 customers without power. There are a number of wires down as a result of strong winds. Toronto Hydro has brought in additional crews to restore power and forestry teams to clear tree limbs.
Toronto Hydro is urging customers to be cautious and stay clear of any downed power lines. Outages and emergencies can be reported directly to the company by calling 416-542-8000.
