TORONTO, Nov. 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited (Toronto Hydro) is now reporting approximately 3,500 customers without power in various locations throughout the city.
- Additional customer service representatives have been added to assist with 'power out' calls. Calls are at 400 per cent over normal volumes.
- Based on the current volume the average time for crews to arrive onsite is two hours. Construction crews have been reassigned from their regular work to respond to outages.
- Current restoration time for all calls is six hours.
Toronto Hydro continues to ask the public to stay clear of all downed wires and to report them at 416.542.8000.
