TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - Toronto Hydro crews (and trucks) take a ferry over to Centre Island. In preparation for next summer's recreational activities, crews replaced a 25+ year-old transformer to help maintain reliable power supply. This transformer serves the Marina directly, and ties into Centreville's electricity supply. Most of Toronto Hydro's infrastructure is past its life expectancy.
