TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Parked next to a cement mixer, a Toronto Hydro truck is engulfed by fog caused by the reaction of liquid nitrogen and warm outside air. Liquid nitrogen is used to keep cement cool to prevent premature curing. Toronto Hydro was onsite conducting inspections for new service connections. Electrical connection requests have increased by approximately 127 per cent from 2003.
