TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2016 /CNW/ - This weekend, Kia Canada Inc. demonstrated the brand's power to surprise by rewarding Toronto resident and loyal Toronto FC fan, Geoff Post, with a one year lease on a brand new 2017 Kia Sportage. Mr. Post won the vehicle in the Score a Sportage promotion and is thrilled to have a new set of wheels for the MLS postseason.
"My current car is older than Toronto FC and it's time for a replacement - thanks Kia," said Mr. Post.

Kia Canada is a proud founding partner of Toronto FC and has worked with the team to grow the game of soccer in Ontario. Earlier this year at Kia Training Ground, Kia Canada, along with MLSE Foundation, launched its fifth edition of KickStart – a program that aims to promote skill-development, community-building, and healthy active living. This year, the program featured an eight-week soccer program in 16 Toronto Community Housing neighbourhoods where children took part in fun soccer activities and got to interact with current Toronto FC players and alumni.
"From one MLS fan to another, Kia is excited to award Mr. Post with the brand new, award-winning Kia Sportage," said Ted Lancaster, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), KIA Canada Inc. "We understand the benefits that children and communities get from sports and are proud to work with Toronto FC and the MLSE Foundation to give more Canadians a chance to play."
On a national level, Kia Canada Inc. is a proud founding partner of all three Canadian MLS teams and recently completed its seventh annual Drive Change initiative - a program that looks to provide the necessary means and encouragement for more kids to play the game of soccer. Through free clinics, hosted by former and current MLS stars, and a national equipment drive through Kia's staff, partners and 189 dealers, Kia and the MLS have given thousands of Canadian youth a chance to develop soccer and life skills while having fun playing one of the fastest growing team sports in Canada.
