MONTREAL, Sept. 28, 2026 /CNW/ -- From October 29 to November 15, 2026, MTLàTABLE, an initiative of Tourisme Montréal, will bring together 165 restaurants across the city to showcase Montréal's culinary scene, from acclaimed fine-dining restaurants to neighbourhood establishments that help define Montréal's culinary identity. The 14th edition will welcome about 50 first-time participating restaurants. Returning in 2026, the DÉVORE culinary guide and Air Canada signature experiences will showcase exclusive tasting menus at seven Montréal restaurants.

MTLàTABLE par Tourisme Montréal

Montrealers and visitors alike are invited to explore the city one table at a time through menus created especially for MTLàTABLE. Table d'hôte menus will be offered at $38, $55, $70 and $90, with brunch menus available for $28. The complete program and list of participating restaurants are now available at mtlatable.mtl.org.

Air Canada signature experiences return for a second year
Following the enthusiastic response to their 2025 launch, Air Canada signature experiences are returning for a second year. Created exclusively for MTLàTABLE, the program brings together Montréal restaurants recognized by Air Canada's Best New Restaurants, an annual ranking that has showcased the country's most exciting new dining destinations for 25 years. This year's seven participating restaurants are Foxy, Hoogan et Beaufort, Lawrence, Le Violon, Molenne, Pichai and Sushi Nishinokaze.

Each restaurant will offer an exclusive tasting menu designed as an immersive culinary experience featuring award-winning cuisine, opportunities to meet the chefs, exceptional ingredients and original creations. The selection includes two restaurants awarded a MICHELIN Star in 2026: Hoogan et Beaufort, led by chef Marc-André Jetté, and Sushi Nishinokaze, an eight-seat sushiya where chef-owner Vincent Gee showcases Edomae sushi and wild seafood from Japan and Canada.

DÉVORE returns as a guide to discovering new restaurants
Launched in 2025 and warmly received by diners and restaurateurs, the DÉVORE culinary guide returns this year to continue its mission of extending the spirit of MTLàTABLE well beyond the event itself. Designed as an invitation to explore Montréal's culinary culture in greater depth, the guide highlights the stories, personalities, neighbourhoods and trends shaping the city's food scene. It offers another way to continue the MTLàTABLE experience and serves as a reminder that Montréal's cuisine can be discovered and celebrated year-round. The DÉVORE guide is available at participating MTLàTABLE restaurants, the tourist information centre and hotels throughout Greater Montréal.

Montréal, a destination best discovered through food
The 14th edition of MTLàTABLE comes at an exciting time for Montréal's culinary scene, as the city earns growing recognition through the MICHELIN Guide, Canada's 100 Best Restaurants and Air Canada's Best New Restaurants.

Gastronomy also plays a leading role in Montréal's appeal as a visitor destination. Between July 2025 and June 2026, food accounted for 37% of visitor spending in the city. This trend extends beyond Montréal. According to Skift's State of Travel 2026 study, 71% of travellers planned to spend money on culinary experiences in 2026, making food the highest-ranked tourism activity in the survey. MTLàTABLE reflects this growing interest by inviting residents and visitors to explore Montréal's neighbourhoods and the restaurants that contribute to its culinary reputation.
