The legendary Stan Lee chooses Fan Expo Canada™ as his last Canadian appearance

TORONTO, Feb. 18, 2016 /CNW/ - FAN EXPO HQ today confirmed that Stan Lee, creator of iconic characters such as the X-Men, Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Avengers, Incredible Hulk and countless others, will be making FAN EXPO CANADA™ his last public appearance in Canada. 

Lee, the 93-year-old former long-time editor of Marvel Comics and creator of the Marvel Universe, has had an extraordinary career spanning over 7 decades bringing the world a bevy of super heroes that have been brought to life through blockbuster films and popular TV shows.

"I've had the pleasure of participating in FAN EXPO CANADA™ over the years and I've always been so impressed by how committed and loyal the fans are," said Lee. "Longevity in this business is only truly possible with the support of the fans - and Toronto has some of the best. As a result, I'm making FAN EXPO CANADA™ my last Canadian public appearance. I look forward to seeing new and familiar faces in September."

This year's FAN EXPO CANADA™ takes place from September 1-4, 2016 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 1 at 10 AM EST.
