long-awaited celebration -

JASPER, AB, Oct. 1, 2026 /CNW/ -- Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge will welcome the return of Symphony Under the Stars on Saturday, October 17, 2026, bringing the storied Edmonton Symphony Orchestra to the shores of Lac Beauvert for an extraordinary evening of live music beneath Jasper's celebrated dark skies.

The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra delivers an unforgettable open-air performance during Symphony Under the Stars at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

The Main Lodge Lobby at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge welcomes guests with warm mountain character, refined design, and a renewed sense of arrival.

Extraordinary views under fall skies in the heart of the world's second-largest Dark Sky Preserve, Jasper National Park.

The newly renovated Stargazer's Lounge at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge reimagines the Main Lodge experience with elevated design, inviting interiors, and a sophisticated sense of place inspired by the Canadian Rockies.

A signature experience of the Jasper Dark Sky Festival, Symphony Under the Stars combines world-class orchestral performance with the spectacular beauty of Jasper National Park, protected within the world's second-largest Dark Sky Preserve.  Guests can experience the occasion as part of an intentionally curated weekend stay or through individual event tickets, with elevated culinary offerings also available to complement the evening.

This year's return holds particular significance. Following a period of transformation at the resort, the event marks the revival of a beloved celebration with deep ties to the Lodge and the wider Jasper community. As the first signature event to return following the property's reopening in late spring, the evening signals a renewed chapter for Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, bringing guests together to experience the timeless connection between music, nature and place. Framed by one of Canada's most breathtaking natural backdrops, Symphony Under the Stars showcases the transportive power of live orchestral music during an extraordinary evening of connection and discovery.

"At its heart, Symphony Under the Stars is about creating moments that stay with people long after the final note. Whether experiencing it for the first time or returning to a cherished tradition, guests are invited to slow down, connect with nature and create lasting memories in a truly meaningful way," said Garrett Turta, General Manager, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
