Beginning in May 2027, ROYALMOUNT will introduce a seasonal outdoor padel experience in partnership with Kopa Padel, becoming the first shopping centre in Québec to offer dedicated padel courts.
With this partnership ROYALMOUNT will be bringing one of the world's fastest-growing sports to a new lifestyle setting in midtown Montreal.Kopa Padel was recently recognized as one of the 20 best padel clubs in the world, bringing internationally recognized expertise to the partnership. Together, ROYALMOUNT and Kopa Padel will introduce seasonal programming, including group classes, coaching opportunities, children's activities, leagues, tournaments and open-play sessions.
The announcement follows a standout 2026 season for ROYALMOUNT's Summer Programming, which welcomed more than 50,000 attendees across over 30 events. Through a curated calendar spanning art, culture, music, wellness and family-friendly experiences, the programming reinforced the destination's role as a lifestyle destination where people come together to connect, discover and experience the best of Montréal.
The arrival of padel in 2027 introduces a new dimension to this programming, bringing the global padel phenomenon directly to the ROYALMOUNT experience.
