TORONTO, Jan. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - Ridgewood Canadian Investment Grade Bond Fund (the "Fund") has declared a special year-end distribution in respect of its 2014 tax year (the "Special Distribution"). The Special Distribution is payable to unitholders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2014 in the amount of $0.403322 per unit, for an aggregate amount of $3,175,284.85.
The Special Distribution will be comprised of $0.393740 per unit on account of the Fund's net realized capital gains for 2014 and $0.009582 per unit on account of the Fund's net income for 2014, which in each case were not previously distributed.
The capital gains portion of the Special Distribution will be paid by issuing additional units of the Fund, followed immediately by a consolidation of the numbers of units of the Fund such that each unitholder of record holds after the consolidation the same number of units held before the Special Distribution. The income portion of the Special Distribution will be paid in cash.
The amount of the capital gains portion of the Special Distribution should be added to the adjusted cost base of such unitholder's units of the Fund as of December 31, 2014.
