More than 2,200 participants expected on November 10 and 11!
MONTREAL, Nov. 4, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - On November 10 and 11, the Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS), organized by Alliance numérique, will be in full swing at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal, widely considered to be a capital of the video game industry. More than 2,200 participants and industry leaders will be there to talk, network and share their knowledge at workshops, conferences and business meetings.
The MIGS program is richer and more diversified than ever this year with a star-studded lineup of speakers, including Brandon Beck, CEO and co-founder of Riot Games, and Marty O'Donnell, soundtrack creator for Halo and Destiny. There will also be fun, creative, activities such as Battle of the Studios, the Steinberg music contest and an art gallery exhibition.
Mr. Harout Chitilian, vice-chair of the executive committee in charge of administrative reform, youth, smart city initiatives and information technology, will attend the end of MIGS on Tuesday, November 11 at 5 p.m.
Media representatives are cordially invited to participate and interact with video game industry leaders from companies such as Ubisoft, Warner Brothers Games, Epic Games, Square Enix and Ludia, as well as emerging independent video game developers. In addition, two Oculus Rift stations will be made available to visitors to give them a taste of the future gaming platform.
