35th Annual Run will benefit research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre
TORONTO, April 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Raising close to $2 million over the past seven years for The Princess Margaret, Harry's Spring Run-Off 8K & 5K to Conquer Prostate Cancer aims to add another $300,000 to that total on Saturday, April 6th in High Park.
As Toronto's oldest, continuously-held race, the 35th annual event is steeped in tradition and features the world's great distance runners. It's a great day for families to cheer-on loved ones and see our youngest philanthropists experience the newly-organized Kids' Run as well.

Why: | Prostate cancer is the most common cancer threat to Canadian men. One in seven men will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime. Over 90% of prostate cancer cases are curable if detected and treated in their earliest stages, so men over the age of 45 are urged to speak to their doctors about testing. |
