MONTREAL, March 18 /CNW Telbec/ - Concordia University's Department of Creative Arts Therapies is hosting a number of public events to mark Creative Arts Therapies Week, March 19 to 28. These activities are organized in partnership with the associations of creative arts therapies of Quebec.
Concordia is the only Canadian university to offer full professional Master's level training in the creative arts therapies.
The week's activities emphasize the role of the arts therapist in facilitating and supporting the unique abilities of the people with whom they are working. Through workshops, information sessions, film viewings and conferences, interested individuals will learn first-hand how collaborative experimentation in music, theatre, dance and art leads to increased resolution and healing of social, intercultural and interpersonal problems.
