Packers Plus Awarded TechRev Innovator 2014

CALGARY, Feb. 12, 2014 /CNW/ - Packers Plus Energy Services Inc., the innovator of open hole multi-stage completions, has been recognized as a 2014 TechRev Innovator.

For the past five years TechRev, a platform created to highlight achievements of local technology companies, has been recognizing standout accomplishments of the most forward looking, viable technology ventures underway in Calgary. Winners of the 2014 awards were announced at a reception at Mount Royal University on February 11.

"We are honoured that Packers Plus has been presented an award for TechRev Innovator 2014," said Dan Themig, President and CEO of Packers Plus. "The competition from the other nominees was outstanding and we are proud to stand out as one of Calgary's most innovative companies."

The 11 awards presented this year were chosen by a selection committee who considered more than 600 nominees from every sub-sector of advanced technology. The selection committee considered many elements to determine the winners, including financial performance, geographic locations, operational growth and market viability.
