TORONTO, Oct. 6, 2026 /CNW/ -- A new lottery experience officially landed in Ontario today. Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is the first lottery jurisdiction in Canada to debut CASH POP™, an innovative draw-based game that brings a new level of customization to lottery play.
CASH POP offers players flexibility in how they build their ticket by choosing their number(s) and selecting their wager amount. After purchase, each selected number is assigned a randomly generated prize amount. Players only need to match one number to win.
How to Play CASH POP:
- Choose one or more numbers, known as POPs, from 1 to 15, or select Quick Pick
- Choose a wager amount:
- $2, $5, $10, or $20 per POP
- After purchase, each selected POP is assigned a randomly generated prize amount:
- Prizes range from 5 to 250 times the selected wager
- One winning number is drawn
- Players whose selected POP matches the winning number will win the corresponding prize displayed on their ticket
- Five daily draws
- Win up to $5,000

As part of the launch, OLG is also introducing a new digital selection slip option. The new feature allows players to build their CASH POP ticket in the OLG App and scan it at a participating retailer to complete their purchase and receive a printed ticket.
