TORONTO, April 10, 2012 /CNW/ - On March 30, 2012, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) was presented with the prestigious 'Best Event Produced by an Association' award, announced during the 15th Annual Canadian Event Industry Awards, a national program which recognizes outstanding achievements in Canadian special events. The OHA was recognized for its progressive annual conference and exhibition, HealthAchieve, which has grown from being the OHA's annual convention to one of the largest health care shows of its kind in North America.
"Though 2011 presented a number of fiscal challenges, we were still able to deliver the very high calibre of event for which HealthAchieve is internationally recognized," said Warren DiClemente, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Educational Services. "We are very proud of HealthAchieve and are honoured to be recognized by our peers in the industry."
HealthAchieve has already confirmed best-selling author Jim Collins as the feature keynote speaker for the 2012 event and the exhibit floor is already halfway to being sold out.
HealthAchieve attracts thousands of health care and business leaders and close to 300 exhibiting companies from across the globe. Show participants and exhibitors have praised HealthAchieve as being an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in technology and health care, hear from world-class speakers and experts from around the world, and to network with colleagues from Ontario and beyond.
