HALIFAX, July 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Premier Darrell Dexter will join Canada's premiers and leaders of National Aboriginal Organizations from the Assembly of First Nations, the Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, the Metis National Council, the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples and the Native Women's Association of Canada, for a meeting in Lunenburg on Wednesday, July 25.
The meeting will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 at the Lunenburg Arms Hotel, 94 Pelham St. There will be a photo opportunity at the start of the meeting.
Note: Parking in Lunenburg is very limited. Media are encouraged to take the shuttle from the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel.

9:15 a.m.: Shuttle departs from Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel for Lunenburg. Before boarding the bus, media must pick up their photo-ID badge at the media registration desk (Acadia Ballroom Foyer, Lobby level, Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel) and proceed to the hotel lobby.
For media who do not wish to cover the photo opportunity at 11 a.m., there is a shuttle departing the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel at 11:15 a.m.
11 a.m.: Meeting of Premiers and National Aboriginal Organizations (NAO) Leaders begins, with photo opportunity. (Media will be escorted to meeting room.)
1:35-2 p.m.: Media availability with Darrell Dexter, Premier of Nova Scotia, and NAO Leaders. Lunenburg Arms Hotel, 94 Pelham St.
(Note: this is a change in location from the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic)
2:05 p.m.: Premiers and NAO leaders depart the Lunenburg Arms Hotel and proceed to the waterfront for a walkabout.
2:35 p.m.: Premiers and NAO leaders board the Tall Ship Amistad for a cruise of the Lunenburg Harbour (photo opportunity of premiers boarding the ship. Note: the sail is private)
3:30 p.m.: Premiers depart for Halifax
Return shuttle to Halifax
2:30 p.m.: First shuttle leaves Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic for Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel
3:30 p.m.: Second shuttle leaves Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic for Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel
