LONGUEUIL, QC, April 22, 2026 /CNW/ - As part of the 14th Tenants' Day, the Regroupement des comités logement et associations de locataires du Québec (RCLALQ) is organizing a major national demonstration in Longueuil on Friday, April 24, under the theme Tenants and Proud of It.
The housing crisis is notably pushing tenants away from city centres toward the periphery. In this context, the Longueuil agglomeration is one of many areas witnessing this phenomenon. For this reason, tenants from all corners of Quebec will gather there to denounce the consequences of this unbalanced rental market and take part in a festive demonstration.
