MONTREAL, March 8, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Jane Doe is the woman who, after an 11-year court battle, successfully sued the Toronto Police Force for negligence and gender discrimination in the investigation of her rape.
She will address the institutional barriers that prevent meaningful discourse and resolution regarding sexual assault which continue to contribute to inequality, rape mythology and an abysmally low conviction rate.
