TORONTO, April 17 /CNW/ - Ontario's LOTTO MAX players will have yet another huge jackpot to play for next week. The jackpot has skyrocketed, after rolling last night. Recent LOTTO MAX draws have awarded thousands of other prizes but no jackpot.
"Next Friday's LOTTO MAX jackpot will be $41 Million, one of the largest since launching the game last year," said Wendy Montgomery, Vice President, Lottery Marketing at OLG. "$41 Million dollars would really let people live their dreams to the max."
Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers until 9 p.m. Friday, April 23 for the draw that evening.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario's LOTTO MAX players have won almost $100 Million in prizes, including 3 big jackpot wins.
For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. ENCORE is also available on LOTTO MAX for $1.
OLG reminds its customers that group players should always identify each member with a signature on group play forms to confirm their contribution. Group Play forms are available at www.OLG.ca.
Customers are reminded to sign their tickets. Lottery retailers are unable to validate a ticket unless the customer has signed it. Signature boxes located on the front of all lottery tickets make it easier for customers to remember to sign their tickets at the time of purchase.
OLG is a provincial agency responsible for province-wide lottery games and gaming facilities. Since 1975, OLG lotteries, Casinos, Slots, and Resort Casinos have generated more than $28 billion for the benefit of the Province of Ontario. Gaming proceeds support Ontario's hospitals, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities, communities, provincial priority programs such as health care and education, and local and provincial charities and non-profit organizations through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
