MEDIA ADVISORY - Rideau Hall Foundation opens applications for 2027 Forum for Young Canadians.

OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 8, 2026 /CNW/ -- Applications are now open for the 2027 Forum for Young Canadians, inviting youth ages 15 to 18 from across Canada to come to Ottawa and experience Canadian democracy firsthand.

For more than 50 years, Forum has brought young Canadians to the heart of the country's democratic institutions, where they meet decision-makers, take part in political and election simulations, and connect with peers from across Canada.

The 2027 program will welcome participants for three, week-long sessions in Ottawa. Applications are open until October 25, 2026.

Program: Forum for Young Canadians

2027 session dates: February 7–12, 2027, February 28 – March 5, 2027, or April 18-23, 2027
