Media Advisory - Minister Olszewski to announce measures to strengthen Canada's aerial wildfire-firefighting response capacity

OTTAWA, ON, May 22, 2026 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada, accompanied by Anthony Housefather, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience, and Corey Hogan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, for an announcement to strengthen Canada's wildfire response capacity and better protect communities across the country from the increasing threat of wildfires.
