Initiative will raise awareness and drive registrations for upcoming IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's

TORONTO, May 9, 2025 /CNW/ - On Monday, May 12, the Alzheimer Society of Toronto is launching a first-of-its kind activation to generate awareness and promote registration for the upcoming IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's on May 24 at Fort York. 

The activation launch event will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11am (ET) at the Yonge-Eglinton Centre where the Alzheimer Society of Toronto is headquartered.

Footprint decals will be placed inside and outside of the Yonge-Eglinton Centre, symbolizing our collective journey and commitment to stepping into action to bring us closer to a future where no one faces dementia alone. Decals feature different messages, including QR codes to make it easy for those passing by to register for the Walk.

When: Monday, May 12, 2025, 11:00 am-11:15 am (ET)

Where: Yonge and Eglinton Centre (2300 Yonge Street)

• Weather Permitting: Outside Sephora at the northwest corner of Yonge & Eglinton, in front of the "I'm Walking For" installation.
• If Rain: Inside the mall at ground level under the escalators beside Metro, in front of the "I'm Walking For" installation.
