Media advisory - Governor General to attend the opening of the Sommet de la Francophonie in Cambodia

OTTAWA, ON, Nov. 6, 2026 /CNW/ -- Her Excellency the Right Honourable Louise Arbour, Governor General of Canada, will travel to Cambodia to attend the opening of the Sommet de la Francophonie, on November 15, 2026.

Canada will be designated host country of the next summit that will take place in 2028.
