Media Advisory: Commemoration in tribute to Rodger Brulotte

The public is invited to a viewing on Thursday, April 9 in Montréal

MONTRÉAL, April 2, 2026 /CNW/ - To pay tribute to the memory of Rodger Brulotte, who passed away on March 20, his family would like to share the following information.

Thursday, April 9 | Public viewing – Open to the public and media
A public viewing will be held for those wishing to say "Bonsoir" and express condolences to his family and loved ones. In keeping with Rodger's passion for sports, attendees are invited to wear the colours of their favourite teams.

• Date: Thursday, April 9, 2026
• Time:
  • Dignitaries: 11 a.m. to noon
  • Public: noon to 7 p.m.
• Place: IGA Stadium, Parc Jarry (285 Gary-Carter Street, Montréal H2R 2W1)

A dedicated media area will be available for interviews and testimonials. TVA will provide pool coverage of the event.

Friday, April 10 | Funeral home - Private event
The family will welcome condolences on Friday, April 10. This event will be held in private, by invitation, with family and loved ones. The media will therefore not have access to the funeral home.

Saturday, April 11 | Funeral - Media invited, ceremony available via webcast    
Media are invited to cover Rodger Brulotte's funeral. Note that media will not be admitted inside the church in order to respect this grave and solemn occasion.

• Time: 10 a.m.
• Place: Sainte-Thérèse-d'Avila Church (10 rue de l'Église, Sainte-Thérèse)

A media area will be provided outside the church for interviews and testimonials. TVA will provide pool coverage of the event, and Le Journal de Montréal will provide official photos.

The ceremony will be webcast live on tvanouvelles.ca and journaldemontreal.com.
