OTTAWA, ON, Oct. 30, 2025 /CNW/ - On November 3 and 4, the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence (CCCE), a program of the Azrieli Foundation, is hosting its second Canadian Caregiving Summit at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa and online. The Summit will bring together more than 450 caregivers, care providers, health system leaders, researchers and policy makers to urge the federal government to Act on Care.
Why It Matters:
Caregiving touches every Canadian family, yet over 8 million caregivers and paid care providers continue to face barriers to support, recognition and resources. A recent spotlight report by the Ontario Caregiver Organization revealed that more than 70% of caregivers in the province are so burned out they feel like they can't go on. The Summit will explore how to turn growing public and political momentum into action.
