In celebration of the 3rd annual Shape Up Week, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment athletes and mascots will make a special visit Holy Name Catholic School. Toronto Maple Leafs legend Wendel Clark, Toronto Raptors alumni Jamaal Magloire and Toronto FC's Doneil Henry will be joined by The Raptor, Carlton the Bear and Duke the Dog to host an interactive assembly to promote healthy, active living. |
Now in its fourth year, Shape Up (mlseshapeup.com) uses professional sports to provide Daily Physical Activity resources to Ontario's elementary teachers including demonstrations and "model classroom" videos as well as activity cards, circuits and missions from the Leafs, Marlies, Raptors and Toronto FC. Participating classes are eligible to win school visits and clinics with players and attend free Shape Up event highlighting all four teams. |
