HAMILTON, ON, Jan. 29, 2016 /CNW/ - Canada's steel industry, which supports 120,000 direct and indirect jobs, is in crisis.
The steel crisis is caused by unfair trade policies and massive, illegal dumping of subsidized foreign steel into our country. As the crisis worsens, Canadian steelmakers have cut production, idled plants and laid off workers, while thousands of pensioners have lost their benefits.
