TORONTO, Oct. 5, 2015 /CNW/ - Kids Help Phone will announce the launch of its new service specifically designed to address mental and emotional health among teen guys, made possible by the generous support from the Movember Foundation. With this new service, Kids Help Phone will address the fact that teen guys are less likely to discuss mental and emotional health or suicide and suicide related issues than teen girls. In Canada, men are four times more likely to die by suicide than women, even though women attempt suicide more frequently. Addressing the root causes of this among young men is a key focus for the new service.
