Media Advisory -- Margaret Trudeau Presentation and Book Signing

TORONTO, June 9, 2014 /CNW/ - Margaret Trudeau will raise awareness of the stigma around mental illness during her keynote luncheon presentation, "Changing my Mind," at Workplace Wellness and Mental Health 2014, hosted by The Conference Board of Canada.

Following her presentation, Mrs. Trudeau will be hosting a book signing, and will meet and speak with conference attendees.

The Conference Board of Canada will present the findings of two research studies at Workplace Wellness and Mental Health 2014. Karla Thorpe will discuss the effects of substance abuse at work, along with the policies and practices employers can adopt to address this growing workplace issue. Louise MH Chénier, will share the results of a new study that examines how Canadian employers can manage workplace fatigue and help workers get the rest they need to function safely and effectively at work.
