Partnership gives Canadians even more ways to enjoy their favourite McDonald's food
TORONTO, Aug. 27, 2018 /CNW/ - On the heels of a successful global McDelivery Day, McDonald's Canada has announced plans to expand McDelivery through a partnership with food delivery company SkipTheDishes. The partnership offers Canadians even more convenience and choice when it comes to enjoying their favourite McDonald's menu items wherever and whenever they want.
McDelivery with SkipTheDishes will launch this month in select cities in Western Canada, and will roll out across the country.
The partnership is the latest expansion of delivery for McDonald's, who, along with its franchisees, have been focusing on evolving and modernizing the guest experience in restaurants in Canada and around the world. Recently, the company also announced the addition of mobile ordering, as well as table service and self-order kiosks.
McDonald's Canada currently offers McDelivery in more than 500 restaurants across the country.
"We are excited to partner with SkipTheDishes as we continue to grow our McDelivery business and expand McDelivery into even more cities across the country," says Dan Logan, Delivery Director, McDonald's Canada. "As our business started and is growing here in Canada, SkipTheDishes is thrilled to partner with McDonald's to connect more Canadians with the food they want. We're ready to deliver an experience Canadians across the country will love," said Jeff Adamson, Co-Founder and VP of Restaurants at SkipTheDishes.
