LOTTO 6/49 ticket worth $13 million sold in London

TORONTO, March 13, 2016 /CNW/ - This weekend is a winning weekend for lottery players in Ontario! The winning ticket worth $13,259,788.90 for the LOTTO 6/49 draw on Saturday, March 12, 2016 was sold in London.

The winning ticket for the LOTTO 6/49 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draw was sold in Kingston.

Also, there were two ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, sold in Mississauga and Orangeville.

Since LOTTO 6/49 was launched in June 1982, there has been a total of 3,354 LOTTO 6/49 draws with Ontario players having won more than $11 billion in prizes, including 1,319 jackpot wins. There have been 294 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draws to date. One hundred and twenty-five of the winning tickets have been sold in Ontario. The next LOTTO 6/49 draw is on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 for an estimated $5 million jackpot and the Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draw. Players can purchase a ticket at authorized OLG retailers or buy online at PlayOLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. for the draw that evening.
