L'Oréal Canada announces the appointment of Amélie Fortier-Cyr as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer (CDMO)
FrançaisMONTREAL, Sept. 10, 2026 /CNW/ -- In agreement with the Executive Management of the L'Oréal Group, L'Oréal Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Amélie Fortier-Cyr as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer (CDMO). She succeeds Marc Dicko, who has taken on new responsibilities within the Group as Chief Digital Marketing Officer for the SAPMENA Zone, following a remarkable tenure marked by digital and artificial intelligence acceleration.
With nearly 20 years of experience within the L'Oréal Group, Amélie Fortier-Cyr, graduate of HEC Montréal and the Université de Sherbrooke, has built an exemplary career spanning Canada, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom. Her journey within the Group began in 2007 in Paris at Vichy Laboratories, before holding key management roles in New York, Paris, and London. Returning to Canada in 2013 as Vichy Brand Director, she then led all pillars of L'Oréal Paris from 2014 to 2018, actively contributing to the brand's growth. In late 2018, she took the helm of Lancôme Canada, positioning it as the number one luxury brand. Over the past three years, as General Manager of L'Oréal Paris UK & Ireland, she drove significant transformations, including the refocusing of media strategy and the success of major campaigns, while also serving as Ethics Correspondent. Her deep knowledge of the Group, combined with her expertise in digital transformation and innovation, make her the natural choice to lead L'Oréal Canada into its next era of marketing acceleration.

Amélie Fortier-Cyr officially assumed her role as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer on September 1, 2026, reporting directly to Stéphane Bérubé, President and CEO of L'Oréal Canada, and working in collaboration with Han WEN, Chief Digital Marketing Officer for the North America Zone.
