MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 4, 2017 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. reported today 8,203 total vehicles sold for the month of June, representing an 8.8 per cent increase versus 2016. June sales were led by Kia Sorento (up 10.7 per cent with 1,809 units sold), Kia Forte (up 31.2 per cent with 1,779 units sold), Kia Sportage (up 70.9 per cent with 1,523 units sold) and Kia Sedona (up 160.9 per cent with 895 units sold).
"June was an exciting month for Kia," said Ted Lancaster, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), KIA Canada Inc. "Not only did we acheive our second best sales month ever, but we also became the first-ever, non-premium brand, to finish as the top-ranked nameplate in J.D. Power's Initial Quality Study in back-to-back years. It's a great time to consider the Kia lineup and we still have some exciting new vehicles to come this year."
