- Kia Canada July sales up 14.5 per cent versus 2015
- Award winning Sorento and Sportage continue to set records by achieving best July year-to-date sales in Kia Canada history
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Aug. 3, 2016 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc. reported 6,527 vehicles sold in the month of July, up 14.5 per cent compared to 2015. Calendar year-to-date sales are up 3.3 per cent versus the same period last year with 42,845 total sales reported.
The month of July marked Kia Canada's best year-to-date sales for Sportage and Sorento carlines ever reported in the first 7 months of the year. Sorento achieved 9,410 total sales year-to-date, up 8.3% year over year and Sportage achieved 6,313 sales, resulting in an incredible 76.8% increase over the same period last year. The month of July also witnessed the best sales month ever recorded for Sedona with sales of 983 units, up 404.1% year over year. The Soul Electric variant continues to see strong year to date sales with an increase of 200% vs same period last year.
