      /NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWS WIRE SERVICES OR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES./

      SASKATOON, SK, Nov. 6, 2026 /CNW/ -- Karnalyte Resources Inc. ("Karnalyte" or the "Company") (TSX: KRN) today announced its financial results and corporate highlights for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.

      Q3 2026 HIGHLIGHTS

      During the quarter, Karnalyte continued to advance initiatives supporting the development of its Wynyard Potash Project (the "Wynyard Project" or the "Project"), with a focus on development planning, infrastructure requirements, strategic partnerships and financing activities.

      Karnalyte continued to evaluate its development strategy for the Wynyard Project, including alternative development approaches and opportunities to optimize project scope, capital requirements and execution strategies. These efforts are intended to support a practical and financially sustainable approach to advancing the Project toward development.

      "We continue to focus on advancing the Wynyard Project through a disciplined approach to development planning, strategic engagement and financing," said Danielle Favreau, Chief Executive Officer of Karnalyte Resources Inc. "Our engagement with GSFC and government stakeholders during the quarter provided valuable opportunities to discuss the Project's development requirements and strengthen important relationships. As we move forward, our priorities remain focused on optimizing the development strategy, addressing near-term financing requirements and establishing a viable path toward the next phase of the Project."

      During the quarter, Karnalyte welcomed senior representatives of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited ("GSFC"), the Company's strategic partner and significant shareholder, to Saskatchewan.

      The visit included a tour of the Wynyard Project site and meetings with local and provincial government officials, as well as representatives of provincial utility providers. Discussions focused on the Project's development plans, infrastructure requirements and potential economic benefits.

      These engagements provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and reinforce the importance of continued collaboration in supporting the future development of the Wynyard Project.

      The Company continued to advance its rail infrastructure study during the quarter, including the evaluation of potential rail access routes and associated infrastructure requirements.

      The study is intended to inform future development planning and support the integration of transportation infrastructure into the Project's overall execution strategy.

      Karnalyte continued to pursue financing initiatives to address its near-term working capital requirements and support the longer-term development of the Wynyard Project.

      During the quarter, the Company engaged in discussions regarding potential short-term debt financing to support its working capital requirements and provide additional financial flexibility as it advances project development planning and financing initiatives.

      In parallel, Karnalyte continued to explore strategic financing opportunities and potential funding structures to support the next stages of engineering and development activities.

      The Company remains focused on establishing a comprehensive financing strategy that considers the Project's capital requirements, development sequencing and potential participation by strategic and financial partners.

      ASSET SALES

      Subsequent to the quarter ended September 30, 2026, Karnalyte completed the sale of a parcel of farmland in the Wynyard area for net proceeds of $504,000.

      This transaction follows the sale of three parcels of farmland completed during the second quarter of 2026, which generated aggregate net proceeds of approximately $1.6 million.

      The land dispositions form part of the Company's ongoing efforts to optimize its asset portfolio, support working capital requirements and align its land holdings with the future development needs of the Wynyard Project.

      Karnalyte continues to evaluate additional land dispositions in accordance with the updated exemption order received from the Saskatchewan Farm Land Security Board on March 24, 2026, while taking into consideration the land access requirements necessary for future Project development.

      OUTLOOK FOR 2026

      For the remainder of 2026, Karnalyte intends to maintain its focus on advancing the Wynyard Project through disciplined development planning, technical evaluation, stakeholder engagement and financing initiatives.

      The Company's principal priorities include:

      • Continuing to refine the Project's development strategy, including opportunities to optimize project scope, capital requirements and development sequencing;
      • Advancing technical and infrastructure studies, including rail access planning and associated infrastructure requirements;
      • Evaluating opportunities to advance the development of magnesium products associated with the Wynyard deposit;
      • Pursuing strategic partnerships, financing arrangements and other business development opportunities to support future engineering and project development activities; and
      • Maintaining disciplined management of working capital, corporate expenditures and capital allocation.

      Karnalyte remains committed to advancing the Wynyard Project in a responsible and financially disciplined manner. The Company believes that continued optimization of its development strategy, engagement with strategic partners and stakeholders, and progress toward securing financing will be important to positioning the Project for future development and creating long-term shareholder value.

      At September 30, 2026, the Company had cash of $0.3 million and positive working capital of $0.8 million. The Company has no debt.
