Invitation to media - The Honourable Mélanie Joly to announce investments to stimulate innovation in Quebec's residential construction supply chain Français
TERREBONNE, QC, Oct. 10, 2025 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
Rapid, sustainable housing construction is a core priority for the Government of Canada. To meet the current shortage, the government is focusing on strategic investments to support innovative, sustainable manufacturing solutions that will make it possible to accelerate the construction of affordable housing across the country.
In this context, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED, along with Caroline Desrochers, Member of Parliament for Trois-Rivières and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, and Tatiana Auguste, Member of Parliament for Terrebonne, will announce CED funding for over 50 projects that will strengthen the residential construction supply chain in Quebec.
The announcement will take place at a Terrebonne-based business connected to the construction industry.
