IAMGOLD appoints Sybil Veenman to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, Dec. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - IAMGOLD Corporation ("IAMGOLD" or the "Company") today appointed to its Board of Directors, Sybil Veenman, a senior executive with over 20 years of mining industry experience.  Most recently, as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel at Barrick Gold Corporation, Ms. Veenman was responsible for overall management of legal affairs, extensively engaged in that company's significant M&A and financing transactions and involved in a wide range of operational, regulatory, political and social aspects of the mining business.
