iA Clarington introduces three new funds, including one designed to help investors seek reliable and consistent income

TORONTO, Jan. 29, 2016 /CNW/ - IA Clarington Investments Inc. (iA Clarington) announced today it has launched three new funds to better meet the ever evolving needs of investors. The addition of these funds further strengthens the iA Clarington fund lineup by providing investors with a diversified, multi-asset income solution, a tax-advantaged solution for registered accounts, and a pure U.S. dollar income solution.

The three newly launched funds are:

IA Clarington Yield Opportunities Fund, Lead Portfolio Manager, Clément Gignac – This fund seeks to provide a steady monthly income stream and modest return by investing in a mix of investment grade and high-yield fixed-income securities, equity securities that pay dividends and other securities that distribute income.

IA Clarington U.S. Dollar Floating Rate Income Fund, Portfolio Manager, Jeff Sujitno – This fund is a pure U.S. dollar income solution designed for investors looking to buy and invest in U.S. currency. The fund seeks to provide a stream of current monthly income in U.S. dollars by investing primarily in senior floating rate loans, other floating rate securities and debt obligations of investment grade and non-investment grade North American and global corporate issuers.
