iA Clarington announces sub-advisory and fund name change for IA Clarington Global Growth & Income Fund
TORONTO, April 30, 2018 /CNW/ - IA Clarington Investments Inc. ("iA Clarington") today announced that, on or about June 1, 2018, IA Clarington Global Growth & Income Fund (the "Fund") will be renamed IA Clarington Global Multi-Asset Fund and will be sub-advised by PineBridge Investments LLC ("PineBridge"), a global asset manager with more than US$85 billion in assets under management.
PineBridge brings a differentiated approach to the Fund's continued objective of providing investors with a global balanced solution that seeks capital appreciation and consistent income.
IA Clarington Global Multi-Asset Fund will offer investors high-conviction, actively managed exposure to a broad range of geographic regions and asset class opportunities, as well as flexibility to adjust to changing market environments. Based on a PineBridge strategy that has delivered attractive risk-adjusted performance for more than a decade, the Fund will take an outcome-focused approach and leverage the deep expertise of more than 200 investment professionals in 17 countries. PineBridge's investment process combines research-intensive, fundamental-driven top-down asset allocation with rigorous bottom-up security selection.
